Important Update Regarding Saturday Services and Funding

Dear Children, Parents, and Carers,

We are writing to you today with a very heavy heart to share some difficult news regarding our services. We deeply regret to announce that we must temporarily suspend all of our Saturday programs and activities, effective immediately, until the end of the calendar year, December 31, 2025.

We know how much our Saturday sessions mean to the children and how essential they are for parents and carers, and we are truly sorry for the disruption and disappointment this will cause. This decision was absolutely necessary for the long-term survival and stability of our organization, but it was not made light

This temporary suspension is a direct result of severe and unexpected funding difficulties. We believe in being transparent with our community: these financial constraints are directly linked to a crucial administrative process involving the local Council.

We have been awaiting the formal completion of our new lease agreement from the Council. This severe and prolonged delay in receiving the lease has, in turn, heavily impacted our ability to secure several essential grant funding streams, which require us to prove current and stable tenure of our facility. The resulting shortfall has created a significant financial strain that we can no longer absorb while maintaining our full seven-day schedule

Please be reassured that our services running from Thursday & Friday will continue as normal. We are working tirelessly, engaging closely with the Council, to resolve the outstanding lease issue as quickly as possible. Simultaneously, we are actively pursuing emergency funding and exploring every option to ensure that we are financially secure.

Our absolute commitment to you, our community, is that the Saturday program will resume fully and permanently in January 2026.

We value your understanding, patience, and continued support during this challenging but temporary period. We remain deeply committed to providing a wonderful and consistent experience for all the children and families we serve.
